About Shno Shana Bergendorff

Shno Shana Bergendorff is an artist and activist whose Kurdish heritage and experiences as a refugee shape her compelling artistic vision.

Her journey from Kurdistan passing and living in multiple countries, and ultimately arriving to Sweden, she attended the School of Dance, Theater and Music, which further nurtured her creative talents.

For the past 18 years, Shana has resided in Marbella, Spain, where the vibrant Mediterranean lifestyle and the rich culture of Andalucía have infused her artwork with new colors and emotions.

Her paintings, celebrated for their emotive power, blend the stark beauty of Kurdish landscapes with the lushness of the Mediterranean.

Her artistic expressions call on viewers to engage with issues of displacement, identity, and the universal quest for dignity, advocating for human rights and celebrating the diversity of human experience.

Shana's previous collaborations with prestigious brands like GUCCI and Nikki Beach, as well as contributions to media giants such as the BBC, highlight her ability to bridge diverse cultural aesthetics and serve as a voice for justice and equality through her art.

Additionally, Shana is a co-founder of Bergendorffs Bespoke Consulting, where she has orchestrated opulent events and pioneered innovative marketing strategies.

She also established the Marbella Event Academy to nurture new talent in the entertainment sector, further contributing to her community and the arts.
